Project STEP

Researchers at Florida International University are conducting Project STEP, a research study designed to support Latino men living with HIV who are currently taking HIV medication. The goal of this study is to better understand ways to support individuals in staying healthy and thriving while engaged in HIV care.

Project STEP is a research study led by investigators at Florida International University in collaboration with community partners.
The study explores strategies that may help individuals stay engaged in HIV care, support medication adherence, and improve overall health and well-being.
Participation in the study is completely voluntary.
Who May Be Eligible
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Identify as a Latino man
- Are currently living with HIV
- Are currently taking HIV medication
- Are interested in participating in a research study focused on health and wellness
A member of the research team will confirm eligibility during a brief screening call.
What Participation Involves
If you participate in Project STEP, you may be asked to:
- Complete brief surveys
- Meet with members of the study team
- Participate in activities designed to support your health and well-being
Participants may receive compensation for their time. Additional details will be provided during the screening call.
